Tim Smigowski

Fabricator, Engineer, Mechanic

My passion for 4 wheeling and racing started at a young age when my parents joined a local four-wheel drive club. Growing up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, any free time was spent wrenching on trucks and abusing them in the woods. After spending 4 years in the Marine Corps as a truck mechanic and 2 years earning an automotive technician degree at Mid Michigan Community College, I returned home and attended school at Michigan Technological University for a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. I got involved in the Michigan Tech Four Wheelers and became friends with Tad and Chris.

I currently enjoy living as a "Yooper" in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and working as a Research Engineer at the Keweenaw Research Center at Michigan Technological University following time at Daimler Chrysler, Engineered Machined Products and Pettibone as a development engineer. When I'm not building and wheeling jeeps or racing rally cars, I'm out mountain biking, hiking or wake surfing with my wife, Christina.
